Facebook: Facebook is the platform I use for personal relationships. I use it to keep in touch with
friends, look at photos and mainly to keep up with where everyone is in life. I would consider
this my least formal profile. I showcase my friends and significant other in both of my photos
currently. I provide the most basic information such as where I currently live and attend school
and maybe a job I have had. My Facebook usage has become less and less due to the clutter and annoying articles that have exploded into my newsfeed
Twitter: Twitter is my favorite platform to engage with people on. It is fun and timely which is the most attractive thing about this platform. My profile features a picture which I use on other
platforms as well so I can start making a name match a face to eventually be noticed by key
influencers. I use Twitter to express my thoughts, share blog posts and engage in conversations
with my followers. My about me section is a short line that accurately describes me- creative
thinker and big dreamer. The header photo is also my blog banner. If I have learned anything it is
all about connecting your platforms.
LinkedIn: This is the most professional platform I am currently on. I have began to frequent
LinkedIn numerous times throughout a day to check job openings, see who has viewed my
profile and read articles I find interesting. However, as far as posting goes, I do not do a very
good job about sharing or pushing out original content. My profile is at an expert level and I
have very strong relations with the majority of my connections. I try to engage with them
monthly to make sure I stay top of mind. I am beginning to really see the value in this social media platform as a senior in college. I don't know where I would be without it.
Pinterest: I use Pinterest as a way to really show my personality. I post fashion that I love, creative trends, basically all things Leah. I use it as a subset to my blog. When I first started my blog my Pinterest and blog account were very similar. I would find a dress I like and then create an image or mood board and blog about it. The image I attached to my blog post I would also pin. It is all about cross platform integration. I find that Pinterest occupies my time when I have nothing else better to do but spend hours on Pinterest.
